Lin Jingren, a Chinese scholar from East China's Fujian province who currently works in the United States, shot a short video showcasing the contributions China and its people have made during the outbreak of the novel coronavirus pneumonia.

Lin said that he was inspired by the courage and determination of the Chinese people in putting up a heroic fight against the epidemic. When reading misleading reports on the epidemic by some foreign media that have stigmatized the Chinese people, Lin decided to shoot an English video entitled "The Resolve of a Country" in order to show the general public that China is sparing no effort in the fight against the virus.

The video has been viewed more than 110,000 times, and hundreds of thousands of netizens have left comments showing their support for China.
