Tourist attractions in China's Fujian province reopened with strengthened travel measures due to the COVID-19 epidemic.

Fujian Tulou is a world cultural heritage site in southeast China's Fujian province, and Longyan city reopened to visitors on Saturday since no confirmed cases of COVID-19 infection have been reported for the past 14 days, according to the local government. The scenic spot will open from 09:00 to 16:00 and visitors need to book the tickets online in advance.

Lai Guirong, a staff member at the tourist spot, said only residents of Fujian Province are allowed to visit currently.

"We are only open to visitors from within Fujian Province and we need to confirm their personal information including the travelling record in the past 14 days. Body temperature measurements are required before entering," said Lai.
