Fujian athletes won 18 gold medals, 11 silver medals, and seven bronze medals on Oct 28, the last day of the 11th National Paralympic Games and the Eighth National Special Olympics.

In total, the province won 61 gold medals, 44 silver medals, and 49 bronze medals at these two national games, including 34 gold, 32 silver, and 35 bronze medals at the 11th National Paralympic Games, as well as 27 gold, 12 silver, and 14 bronze medals at the Eighth National Special Olympics.

The Fujian blind soccer team won six of seven games at the Paralympic Games, winning the gold medal with 18 points.

This is the third time that the Fujian blind soccer team has won a gold medal at the National Paralympic Games after the Eighth Paralympic Games in 2011 and the Ninth Paralympic Games in 2015.
