Well, it takes some serious effort - wood surfers use just one or two pieces of thin log and a bamboo pole to keep their balance. Check out these recent images of wood surfers showing off their skills on the Huotong River in Ningde city, East China's Fujian province, where wood surfing originated around 600 years ago. It's still a popular local tradition and continues to attract enthusiasts from home and abroad.
