The 13th Fuding White Tea Opening Festival, held from March 17 to 31 in Fuding, in East China's Fujian province, aimed to promote the high-quality development of the tea industry.

With the tagline "Loong Year Blessing Fuding, Tea Harmonizes the World," the event showcased the local culture and creatively integrated tea culture, the tea industry, tea technology, sports, cuisine, and tourism. It aimed to establish Fuding – the global birthplace and core production area of white tea – as a world-class coastal tourism city themed on the tea.

The festival featured a diverse array of events, including an opening ceremony, the China White Tea Trade Carnival, and the first China Tea Industry Top 100 County-level Basketball Open (TeaBA) Tournament.

The event is a part of the city's efforts to develop new models and formats under the "White Tea+" concept, enhance the brand influence of Fuding white tea, and drive the green and high-quality development of the Fuding white tea industry.
