As the National Day holiday approaches, the Fujian Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, in collaboration with Fujian's various regions, has organized over 1,100 distinctive cultural and tourism events and introduced 160 incentives. The goal is to cater to a diverse array of tourism needs and attract both domestic and international tourists to experience the essence of "Fujian-style life".

A rich array of cultural performances awaits visitors. Building upon the success of the 9th Fujian Arts Festival, provincial and municipal troupes are set to deliver a diverse range of artistic performances, including the National Symphony Concert commemorating the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. Traditional operas, including Yue Opera performances like Liu Yong, will tour the province, alongside captivating regular opera and Min Opera productions. Concerts will also be held to attract more visitors to Fujian.

A number of lively public activities are already currently underway. Through community-centered cultural events, Fujian is showcasing its rich folk arts and culture. Across the province, a variety of community cultural activities will be held during the National Day holiday, including mass singing events, street artist exhibitions, and local music, dance, folk art, and traditional opera performances to create an engaging atmosphere for public participation.

A diverse range of themed activities is also on offer, blending the essence of the National Day holiday with Fujian's culture, Maritime Silk Road culture, Zhu Xi culture, Hakka culture, and more. A variety of events, including the harvest celebration series on Zhangzhou's Shazhou Island, water sports in Ningde, and the "blue sand" music festival in Pingtan, are part of the exciting lineup.

In addition, the province is actively engaged in preserving and promoting intangible cultural heritage (ICH), integrating projects like paper cutting, puppetry, traditional tea-making techniques, and related customs into scenic areas and streets across 60 historical and cultural districts.

Furthermore, 320 exhibitions, consumer-friendly initiatives to boost spending, and high-quality National Day tourism routes are being introduced. Come to Fujian for an unforgettable National Day holiday!
