The 2024 China Private Economy Development (Quanzhou) Forum, titled "Promoting Excellent Entrepreneurship and Developing New Productivity", recently opened in Quanzhou, East China's Fujian province.

During the forum, the list of China's top 100 industrial clusters in 2024 was unveiled, with six industrial clusters in Fujian making the list, including the Jinjiang textile and footwear cluster, Quanzhou machinery and equipment cluster, Quanzhou home building materials cluster, Ningde power battery cluster, Fuzhou textile cluster, and Xiamen electronic information cluster.

The top 100 industrial clusters in China span 20 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the central government, yet they are predominantly concentrated in eastern cities. Anhui, Jiangxi, Fujian, Shandong, and Shanghai, all of which are first-tier cities or regions with vibrant private sectors, host five to eight industrial clusters.
