10th Silk Road International Film Festival opens in Fuzhou

The 10th Silk Road International Film Festival opened in Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian, on Sept 25.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and the Silk Road International Film Festival.
Nine main activities, including the Golden Silk Road Awards, a BRI country-focused exhibition, and a film forum, will be held during the festival.
The BRI national film exhibition has invited countries and regions involved in the BRI to participate and build an international exchange platform that will effectively cultivate cultural exchanges and industrial cooperation within the film and television industry.
The annual Golden Silk Road Awards have received 500 submissions from 51 countries and regions.
Donnie Yen, chairman of the international jury of this year's Golden Silk Road Awards, and members of the jury will decide on the winners of the 10 awards at the festival.
The 10th Silk Road International Film Festival will conclude on Sept 27 and the results of the Golden Silk Road Awards will be announced at that time.
