Entrepreneur committed to digitalizing China

Wang Jing, CEO of Newland Hi-tech Group, a technology company based in Fuzhou, Fujian province, said she has been promoting the construction of a digital China over the past five years and believes that digitalization is a new engine for the modernization of national governance.

As one of the earliest entrepreneurs to participate in the digitalization of Fujian, Wang seized the opportunities of digital citizenship and digital RMB innovation, supported the pilot of digital RMB for the Beijing Winter Olympics, served as the first chairperson of the Digital RMB Industry Alliance, and actively promoted the development of digital RMB.

Wang is also a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), the nation's top political advisory body. Over the past five years, she has actively provided suggestions on the main points and shortcomings in social governance, scientific and technological innovation and economic development, and submitted a number of proposals involving digital citizenship, digital governance, digital identity, digital food safety, digital health, digital Chinese characters, scientific and technological innovation and other fields in hopes of achieving the goal of people-centered governance.

Under the leadership of Wang, Newland has been focusing on the governance needs of governments, industries, enterprises and merchants, and provided full-scenario digital solutions for hardware, software, business operations and data operations since its establishment. Wang also noted that in the digital era, Newland plans to continue to seize new opportunities and contribute to scientific and technological innovation for the country's digital development.
