East China's Fujian province recently announced the dates for its 2023 "two sessions".

The first session of the 14th Fujian Provincial People's Congress will be held from Jan 11 to 15, and the first session of the 13th Fujian Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference will open on Jan 10. Both sessions will be held in Fuzhou, capital of Fujian province.

The gatherings are highlights on Fujian's political calendar as they set the provincial agenda for the year.
