Fujian sees 13.2% trade growth with ASEAN

Trade volume between East China's Fujian province with members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations reached 340.29 billion yuan ($47.41 billion) in the first ten months of 2022, up 13.2 percent year-on-year.
Xiamen Customs said that, of the total volume, exports amounted to 209.65 billion yuan, while imports reached 130.64 billion yuan, rising 13.3 percent and 13 percent, respectively, compared with the same period last year.
Among the ASEAN members, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam were Fujian's top three trade partners, with their imports and exports reaching 96.34 billion yuan, 69.63 billion yuan, and 56.31 billion yuan, respectively.
Major exported goods from Fujian from January to October included labor-intensive products, mechanical and electrical products, and agricultural products. Major imported goods were coal, natural gas, agriculture products, and metal ore.
