The 17th edition of the China Cross-Straits Technology and Projects Fair opened on June 18.

The four-day event in Fuzhou, capital of Fujian province, attracted more than 1,200 companies from both sides of the Taiwan Strait.

The fair encompasses three exhibition zones, occupying 80,000 square meters, with 390 booths.

More than 60 activities including trade matchmaking events and forums are also set to be held on its sidelines.

The fair, since its inception in 2003, has developed to be an important annual event for deepening cooperation and exchanges among the businesses from the mainland and Taiwan.
