In 2018, Ningde's output of raw stainless steel accounted for 17.6 percent of China's total and 10 percent of the world's total, making it the world's largest stainless steel production base.

As a leading company in the sector, Tsing Tuo Group based in Ningde has become the first private manufacturing enterprise with an annual output of more than 100 billion yuan in Fujian.

Copper materials

With a total investment of 5.3 billion yuan, the Ningde copper smelting base jointly constructed by the Fujian provincial government and Aluminum Corporation of China has an annual output of 400,000 tons of cathode copper.

The project was put into operation in the fourth quarter of 2018 with annual output of more than 20 billion yuan.

It has the largest single production line in the industry anywhere the world, featuring low energy consumption and a high degree of automation.
