The 10th edition of the Cross-Straits Electric Motor & Home Appliance Expo is slated to be held in Ningde, East China's Fujian province from June 12 to 15, according to a government press conference on May 30.
The 22,500-square-meter expo features 518 booths, showcasing a wide variety of products from the Chinese mainland and Taiwan, including motors, home appliances, new energy batteries, new energy vehicles and some metal materials.
Two forums focusing on the development of electric ships and automotive chips will also be held on the sidelines of the expo, with business executives, scholars and experts sharing their insights into the future growth of the two sectors.
The expo is jointly sponsored by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Ningde municipal people's government.
According to the organizing committee, a total of 146 deals worth 55.5 billion yuan ($8.28 billion) are expected to be reached during the event.
To date, more than 190 companies from 12 provinces and 2 municipalities have confirmed their participation, including several world renowned companies such as SAIC Motor and CATL.
