Intl fishery expo seals deals worth 22.7b yuan

A total of 13 deals valued at a total of 22.7 billion yuan ($3.38 billion) were reached at the China International Fishery Expo in Fuzhou, East China's Fujian province, which wrapped up on June 1. 

The deals covered a wide range of fields, including ship construction, marine tourism, aquaculture, and internet platform construction. 

The expo, occupying 46,000 square meters and featuring 1,870 booths, is comprised of nine exhibition zones showcasing over 1,000 varieties of marine products ranging from aquatic food, seafood ingredients and seasoning to ocean fishing equipment. 

Nearly 400 enterprises from 34 countries and regions including Japan, Australia, Canada, Brazil, Thailand, South Korea and Indonesia participated in the event.
