​Gulang Islet

Gulang Islet is a pedestrian-only island off the coast of Xiamen, Fujian province. A UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site, the island is located to the southwest of Xiamen Island, from which it is separated by a 5 minute ferry ride over the 600-meter-wide Lujiang Strait. The islet has a land area of 19,100 square meters and a population of 20,000. It is a major domestic tourist destination, attracting more than 10 million visitors per year, and is one of China's most visited tourist attractions.
