The Paris 2024 Olympics commenced with grandeur on July 26 in Paris. Alongside the gathering of top athletes in Paris, a range of high-quality sports equipment manufactured in Quanzhou, Fujian, was also present to enhance their performances.

Well-known Quanzhou brands such as Anta, Peak, Joeone, and Xtep are supplying sports equipment, including clothing, shoes, and accessories for this year’s Olympic Games. The global reach of “Made-in-Fujian” is expanding in sync with the Olympic season.

2024 is the Year of the Dragon, or Chinese loong. Aligned with the zodiac signs, Anta has designed the champion outfit for Team China with a loong theme. The spirit of loong echoes with the tenacity and determination of Chinese athletes. Furthermore, these outfits are crafted from recycled fibers.

Opening ceremony uniforms crafted by Joeone feature patterns of the Great Wall's brickwork and bamboo. They both symbolize integrity and perseverance, recognizing Chinese athletes' hard work and sports spirit.

Still, other providers expanded their presence overseas. Peak provides award ceremony uniforms and sports shoes for 11 delegations, including Belgium, while Xtep provides shoes for breakdancing, a newly added event at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

Uniforms aside, Quanzhou's enterprises, renowned for their expertise in arts and crafts, provided figurines, crystal balls, and keychains of the mascot "Olympic Phryge".

An increasing number of "Made-in-Fujian" products are making their mark globally. This momentum will see the Chinese sports delegation break new ground this year in Paris.
