Savills sets up second branch in Fujian, following Xiamen

Savills, one of the world's spearheading real estate service providers, inaugurated a new branch in Fuzhou, capital of East China's Fujian province, on July 19.

It is the company's second branch in Fujian province following Xiamen and its 18th branch in China.

Chen Qi, deputy head of the Taijiang district government in Fuzhou, pointed out that Taijiang district is striving to develop its modern service sector and create a sound business climate, adding that they will support Savills' development in the city.

Robert McKellar, executive chairman and director of Savills Asia Pacific Limited, said that Fuzhou has become an important node along the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road, and the establishment of the new branch indicates Savills' confidence not only in the city's development potential, but also the company's own future in China.
